I am at 260,000 miles now.

I fixed the PCV smoke issue, no oil consumption now.

I did my first brake pad change after 250,000.

I did my first spark plug change at 240,000. I still haven't changed the wires.

 

4.8 but just hit 307k. All stock. Runs like a champ. Inside and out looks brand new. Every button and gauge works as should. Seats arnt even worn.

 

Just bought my wife a 04 Tahoe Z71 that just clicked over 222,222k miles. Bought it from the 2nd owners who had it since 70k. Only things that were done by them were a water pump, rotors/pads, tires, oil changes. Original motor and tranny and tranny fluid has never been changed But I got it cheap enough I can put a tranny in it if it goes out. As soon as I got it I did plugs, wires, fuel filter, cold air intake, tune. I also did a power steering pump but it didnt fix the problem. Looks like im gonna have to put a steering box on it. I did a steering shaft also. About the level the front end and put new shocks too.

 

Mines a 99 model 5.3, built in 98 , has 294k on the speedo and never been into. Uses about a quart between oil changes. I've gone through 3 rear ends and 5 trannys , engine still Rollin. Had a head gasket leakin a few years ago, I put the expensive stop leak in it, haven't had a problem since..
