G80 blew in the first one. 2nd one self destructed (gears limited slip) and now the third one is a factory open rear end with 70K miles on it.

I have a customers truck we have worked on since new that has 687,800 and change. It is an oil field gauging truck we've replaced 3 transmissions countless fuel pumps and the posi trac fragged and destroyed the stock rear end. But the motor has never been into before and still runs like a top and does not use a drop of oil. It has had chevron delo 15w40 diesel oil in it since new.

I want to see the inside of that engine when it finally dies. Thats just insane. My 4.8 seems new with a measly 130xxx on it.

That's some serious mileage! And at 15mpg average and $2.50 gas, that's $115,000 spent filling it up.

My 2000 Z71 has about 136k.
Replaced 1 upper ball joint
Trans rebuilt at 118k, no 3rd or OD
Other than that its been brakes, belts, and tires. Serviced all fluids around 100k and uses 2qts of oil every 3-4k miles.
