|
260k+ On My second truck both 5.3's, I've replaced every accessory, suspension, steering and brake part in the past 8 months.... but never pulled a valve cover or dropped tranny on it. The truck still drives like new, w/ the exception on the 22's and the slow windows lol

260k on an 01 and runs great. I did just have to put all new injectors (3 failed at same time, maybe bought some bad gas?) and it uses a quart of oil between changes. Put an 06 tranny in around 200k I think.

03 w/ 171,000 origonal tranny, oil pressure is a bit low, and a few minor problems with the guages and the 6 disc broke 3k miles ago :(

I have a customers truck we have worked on since new that has 687,800 and change. It is an oil field gauging truck we've replaced 3 transmissions countless fuel pumps and the posi trac fragged and destroyed the stock rear end. But the motor has never been into before and still runs like a top and does not use a drop of oil. It has had chevron delo 15w40 diesel oil in it since new.

My truck has 323,000 miles on it and still runs like a champ. Was planning to replace the engine by now but I guess i will have to wait longer this thing wont die. :burnout:
|
687,800 :eek2: I thought I had "high" mileage at 194,000 lol

Damn Piston slap on these early ones... Still has around 60 PSI on start up and never drops below 40 PSI in the hotest conditons. Gas milage sucks could probally use a set of 02 sensors and I bet the piston rings arent in the greatest shape from it running hot and low oil... changed 1 set of plug wires 2 sets of spark plugs 1 water pump. Turned out to be bad gaskets but already had the pump so I changed it out any way. 1 Fuel Pump 2 Main belts 1 Ac belt 1 set of rotors and pads all 4 corners 3 sets of tires 1 set of rims 1 Drive shaft bearing on the 2 peice drive shaft. 1 trans not because it went out but because it felt week esspecially after long drives and I wanted to maintain reliablity. Also didn't have a cooler on it. 1 center jump seat/arm rest cover... The lids always go bad... Service fluids regularly or as needed if sooner |
My buddys truck with a 5.3 has 275k miles and still loves the 150 shot. His 4.8 truck had 285k miles and was taking a 250 shot like a champ.
|
My '03 with 90k on it doesn't run "like new" anymore... I think it might have something to do with the air compressor kb racing sent me though :secret2:

99 5.3 with 279k , runs like a top.
|
How about had?... I used to have a 03 avalanche with 325k :0 i sold it a few years ago and when i ran in to the buyer i asked about her and he mentioned he was close to the 400k....
|
My old 1500 had 187k when it was totaled. Current truck has a little over 166k now and ran a best of 10.17 in the 1/8 in 4WD
Oil pressure is almost always right at 60psi sometimes gets as low as 45-50 depending on the day. Uses maybe a quart every 6k with Amsoil 5w-30. |
379k on a 07 just traded it in. Bought it new
|
I have a buddy who sold his 03' Yukon at 285,XXX and another one who has an early 00's RCSB with 23X,XXX on it, stalled w/ factory 4L60 and still sprays it from time to time on a 100 shot. My '05 only has 48,135 on it.
