you don't have to appologize...alot of people, for whatever reason, don't think hptuners has an autove procedure where in fact they've had it for far longer then anyone else in the market currently. They just dont have a snazzy name we just call it air fuel error I keep telling them to make up something catchy

Mostly because it is what I use, just as you a big supporter of HPT. I believe EFILIve has a couple of tables and custom OS's that Hpt doesn't for boosted guys, and there is not a fee, per 2-3 bar setup you want to tune. Like I said, it's MY OPINION, just like you are not real familiar with EFILive, I am not real familiar with HPT. I have heard of many people going form HPT to EFILive, but have not heard of one person going from EFILive to HPT.

We have both stated are opinion and neither of use has spread any false information, there not reason to start battling like you guys tend to do over on tech about this. Lets just be friends

you said its better suited for forced induction I was just asking you specifically why? As far as efilive not charging thats a farce...theres a $150 premium for the commercial upgrade to $849 not to mention $99 per vin after just to be able to do a 2 bar tune. If theres some majical thing that efilive does that hptuners cannot that will ultimatly give you a better tune feel free to mention it to sway people from one side to the other. My personal feeling is they both can get you to the same point in the end in the same amount of time.

We also have demo's here:
http://www.hptuners.com/help/getting_started_demos.htm

And a full feature list here:

Hope this helps clarify.

I'm not trying to start a pissin match here, You like one, I like the other. They both get the job done as you have stated. I gave my opinion, you gave yours and that's what the man asked for. They have different pricing structures and how you use it will determine what is best for you. For me, a ONE time upgrade fee to be able to tune all the 2 bar setups and CO's was worth it, cuz that about all I tune. Yes there is a $99 per PCM (not VIN) fee, but that is the same with HPT. HPT does give the option to buy year licences, but I work on many different years, so that would cost me even more. I like the fact that for $99 I can tune any car or truck I want to, with or with out 2 bar.

HP Tuners also gives you single vehicle licenses, and year/model licenses... and easy upgrade paths from single vehicle to year/models and year/models to unlimited vehicle groups.

A single vehicle LS1 costs $99, or 2 credits with HP Tuners. A LS1 year/model costs $299 or 6 credits with HP Tuners. Here is a licensing example:
http://www.hptuners.com/help/vcm_edi...activation.htm

This example shows how you can use the upgrade paths without having to send your hardware back to us.
http://www.hptuners.com/help/introdu...cense_info.htm

I know it may be a bit of reading, but it really shows the true power of the HP Tuners licensing scheme.

Edit: I'm not posting this to start the debate or a flame war, I'm simply responding to kbracings comments about HP Tuners not having a single vehicle license option. I just want to clarify the truth, that is all.

Was it Nitrorocket? If it was I remember him and all the trouble he had trying to learn how to tune and with such a beast of a car. Plus he was in a big hurry. The guys on efilves forum took great care of him and helped him get his monster running good.
