What software???
I am trying to figure out what software GM performance uses to tune there ECU's . I am trying to tune an LS3 that is running a E38 ecu. The car was previously tuned by GM performance and I cant access it. If i have to buy a new ecu then so be it.

So GM performance and Lingenfeltera got together and built a bad *** car. One of the gm performance techs tuned it. Whatever he used he was able to change the Vin to match the car. Has the guys name and car make as Vin.

Early versions of LS2Edit locked the ECMs by default. I run into this all the time with people that use Street and Performance in Mena AR. They use LS2Edit. When you call them and complain they will swear they aren't locking them. The problem is they are too dumb to know what they are using is changing the seed/key by default. You can sent the ECM to Geoff at EPS in Baton Rouge and he can unlock it and preserve the tune that is in it. That is about your only option other than buying a new ECM.
