Default What now?

The 6.0L + 4L80-E swap is finally in. The shop started the engine but shut it off 3 seconds later because there's no tune in there for any of the new set-up. They just wanted to see if it would start and it did!
Using HPT I downloaded the tune that was in the truck onto my computer this morning. I know I am gonna need a whole new tune, will a tuner be able to adjust my 5.3L and 4L60-E semi-stock Programing/tune or do I have to find a new program geared for 6.0L and 4L80E's just to make it run right? Any advice on what it's gonna take to do this or what I'm gonna need? I know absolutely nothing concerning tuning and PCM/ECU stuff. As far as this is concerned it's learn as I go. What little I know is what I've learned on here but that's mostly advance/retard timing and A/F ratio's and the like.
I did order DrX's harness and should be getting it either tomorrow or Monday and until then the truck is in REP (reduced engine power) mode. I assume the truck can't identify with the 90mm TB that's in there right now.
As it stands, after DrX's stuff arrives I'm gonna tow the truck over to JPA's on monday to get a base tune in and program the tranny, then find a tuner.
Any help or advice on what needs to be done is appreciated.
Thanks

i have heard that a 80e truck wont go past 2nd gear on a 60e tune

you will need your engine displacement changed among many other things in your engine tune

i think that now you can safely take out all tq mgmt with out fear of hurting the trans

Is that as simple as just plug and play? I guess the best place to find a stock tune like that would be on HPT's site. That wouldn't erase or screw up and data that needs to be kept in the trucks computer then?
