Default what to ask/request when getting engine/tranny tuned

I have an 04 5.3 that I put the trick flow top end kit/lsxrt/arh headers on (trans is 60e w/kit,servo,3k yank) and I am taking it to be tuned this week (@ Schexnayder Racing in Louisiana) and I want to be prepared. I am bringing a few tools (just in case) and all of the literature that came with the parts, as well as the service manual. What questions do I need to ask? Are there any specific things to address that might be overlooked by the tuner? I do know for sure he uses HPtuner. What will he probably ask me? What questions have I not thought to ask I want to do this right!

I don''t know if I can resist that... truck is a single cab w/ light wheels... I know it's a risk but I HATE the TM and despise the fact that GM implemented it instead of building their **** just a little stronger.

I don't know what you mean by trick flow top end kit, but I can tell you that if you have a cam going with that lsxrt you are going to max your stock injectors fairly easily.

it is their "all in one" kit--
205ccheads/cam/rollerrockers/pushrods/bolts/gaskets

supposed to make 456hp (crank) using stock truck intake/throttlebody/injectors

I upgraded to the lsxrt, maybe you're right....it might push me over the limit of the stock injectors. I will find out Friday (hopefully)

BTW, mild cam--216/220 .560/.560 114

I don't mind being a guinea pig...

the only problem so far is with the pushrod legnth. the kit came with 7.5s and they were WAY too long. I ended up having to use my stock pushrods with a .020 shim under the rockers I did speak with trick flow about this, and they didn't seem too concerned...guy said if that is what it took to set the preload right then that's what it took. Apparantly the base circle on the cams they use isn't too consistent.

OH and another thing....those waiting for dyno numbers will have to wait...the belt on the dyno broke so we will be tuning it on the street...
