What all is involved/needed to perform a Crank relearn after a tune?

Allen Nelson dyno tuned my 04' RCSB a few years ago, so I didnt have to worry about it on that one. On my new truck, I wont be able to drive down there for a dyno tune, and will have to settle for a mail order. What all is involvoed with the crank relearn? Is this required of ALL trucks that recieve tuning? Can this be done with a Tech II?

Not all trucks need this, its hit or miss. And yes it can be done with a tech II. From what I understand, basically the truck is held at a certain rpm, actually 3 or 4 different rpms, for a matter of seconds while the tech II is connected.
