if your paying for something and ask for it specifically then it should be done for you provided that you understand that if your tranny dies then it's on you and not the tuner. i think westers garage was another place that wouldn't pull tm.

why would pulling T/M cause such harm to your drivetrain? Do stock 5.3L's make an insane amount of torque or is the transmission just that weak? I'm pretty surce my camaro didn't have T/M, and there's no way a 5.3 is making that kind of power.

I have a W4M in my truck with the sevral Transgo parts and the HD2 kit and upgraded servos in my built 65e with 80% TM removed. It shifts out perfect for what I want and it is not going to kill my tranny either. Jesse tuned over 8000 vehicles last year so he is getting better every day. I say if you have bolt ons just short of a cam then go with the W4M tune. once my cam and stall go in though mine will be going on the dyno at Allen Nelson's place... I have heard too many good things about his tunes to ignore it...

The 4l60e is too weak to handle the stress of the heavier truck. And they suck, and are pieces of . Oh yea, and they are weak, and they suck

yep weight kills them...pulling timing saves them. Just in case no one has mentioned it yet...they suck. LOL

B.S. They still break, cause they SUCK

Im hoping my 4l65 (notice no "e" there) is at least a little stronger. Ive been wondering, the 4l60e is pretty mutch a 700r-4 that is electronically controlled, and the 700r-4 is pretty mutch a TH-350 with OD. So why not all the problems with the vaccum controled trannys? Hmmmmmmmm. Ive been told that up to 70% of the 4l60e failures are because of the PCM. But I don't know for sure.

i have the wait4me and iam completly happy with it. well exept the ses light being on still. but that is gonna be tuned out. my shifts are perfect! i have a shift kit with the vette servos and 60% tm removed. granted at wot it gets alittle hard on the shifts but that is what the 2 warrenty on the tranny is for. jesse did a great job! now my roomate has the nelson tune and it is bad ***! so i think that both tunes are worthy. i think that once you get into serious mods then nelson would be the place to go. and that is my 2 cents

Howdy,
I received my w4m PCM today. It took 8 days from the day that I ordered it. I installed it and have no check engine light on. I still need to get the crank relearn performed. It has more power across the board and the shifts are quicker. The kickdown passing gear is much firmer and it will wind up to 5,800 rpms before it shifts if I keep it floored. I am extremely pleased with my $158.10 investment. Have a goodun!!
