ok i read somewhere i think on ls1 tech where they were saying something about disableing the maf can couse the pump in the tranny to pump at 100% and could burn the pump out or something. i just read it and wanted to know for sure if this is bs or what the said it was for the newer model truck like 04 and up or something. not sure it was a while back has anyone heard this or what. i cant remimber if it was when unpluging it or just disableing it. any ideas???

what the hell is pid i can't read this if i don't know what a acronym is lol i'll read it all and understand nothing becouse i'll be thinking "what the hell is this" the whole time. thanks

like what to log, what to look for etc

Dissabling the maf on older pcms sometimes did set a transmission failsafe mode that would max line pressure. But they can easiely be turned off to allow for normal transmission operation. Efilive has those tables needed to check and verify if yours will max out or not.. It is under transmission diagnostics.
