Had an Idea on using the vats on my conversion swap i'm doin. 80 c10, with everything possible from an 01 2500hd 6.0l 4l80e, inluding seats, dash and gauge cluster. My thoughts were to use even the steering colum and wheel, however thats changed, but my idea was to relocate the ignition lock/key/tumbler to the ashtray or somewere and still use the igntion function but have the start function from the original 80 steering colum. is there anything else that may affect the vats or would this work. Anybody have any thoughts on this?
