Default Upgrading from 99 to 02 Operating System???

Allright guys. I'm using EFILive. I have the 99 PCM, I was having major issues with False KR. I changed some settings for the knock sensors to the 02 knock sensors and it helped. However i still am reading false KR. Should i just go ahead and upgrade to the 02 operating system. If so how would i go about doing that. I have 2 licenses for EFILive, which i am currently using one of them. If i upgrade to the 02 operating system will it not recognize my VIN and try to use the other license? A little help would be greatly appericiated.

Also I am in the process of going CAT less. How do i go about deleting the rear O2's and if there is anything else you would suggest tuning after removing the CATs let me know.

I attached my tune and a log file that I logged for about 2 hours.

hey, not sure on the OS problem, but with HPT on the rear 02's go to your DTC's and delete all sensor 2's, meaning Bank 1 Sensor 2's uncheck all, Bank 2 Sensor 2's uncheck all. I know you have EFI Live but hope that helps.

Credit to RandomHero for this tip he sent me a while back:

"Yep it's that easy. Just get a stock 2002 tune with the same operating system. I'm pretty sure you have to have EFI Live, but go to HoldenCrazy.com, they have a tune "bin" there.

After that just copy your files over"

It will not cost you anything to upgrade to the new operating system. Open up a 2002 OS tune for your truck and simultaneously open up your tune file. You'll need to go through it section by section and copy the pertinent portions over from your 99 to the 02 PCM (pay special attention to the injector settings). Then, you'll need to do a "Program Operating System and Calibrations" Flash from the tuning tool.
If you send me your email address, I can send you the file that I sent RandomHero (if I can find it...)

If it's your currently installed and running PCM and you're using EFILive, you won't have to do a security relearn.
