unused connector at 7 way plug

Default unused connector at 7 way plug
2005 2500hd. routing some wires for my enclosed trailer and noticed there is a small wire, on a single connector thats just there.
ive done some google searching, but cant find anything on this wire.

Can you be more descriptive? Possible a picture of what your asking about. The trailer brake maybe?

Its for the high mount light on a topper if you have one.

mmm. interesting. ill have to check it with a test light to see if its for a tail or brake light. i might do something with that wire.
