Tuning tips/advice for a Procharged 6.0 using EFI Live
#15
Install is set for Friday morning. Already have tho 2 bar map installed. I got my modded stock fuel rails in. Just waiting on the injector spacers to install the fast 65# injectors. Got the cos3 loaded and running smooth. Any last minute tuning advice? There is a tnt at the local track on Saturday. Would be nice to see what it can do if I can get the tune down before then. Thanks.

Plan on ramping up your ve on the rpm axis in a fairly linear fashion... Use your current peak torque to figure where it will lose that linear characteristic and begin to level off. There's a few other little tricks to use, like knowing how good your exhaust is, head flow numbers, intake runner length, and so on. That way you can sit on your couch and bust out most of the tune's hard work. Once its in it should only need a couple touch ups. And as usual, timing advance should inversely reflect your ve table.

Ok, The COS that Im running has a boost timing table that will subtract the set value from the timing. So Since Im running 31* timing, If I have 20 in the cell it will make my timing 11. Make sense?
As for the fueling I followed the EFI Live COS update to start the map. I copied my 105 kpa cell, past it to my boost ve map 105kpa, go to 255 kpa and past, add 300%, then auto fill the rest. Only thing is I only see 90 kpa max here
