Default Tuning a stock O8 Silverado?

Has anyone had any luck tuning a 08 silverado that is pretty much completely stock? I have a k&n filter kit. Just wondering really is it worth the money that has to be spent.

Tuning is 1 of the first performance mods most people do. 1 of the best performance gains for your buck too. You will notice a much bigger gain than that K&N that you put on.. Check out wheatley or Justin@blackbear tuning. They will take care of you.

Sounds good. I spend days and days trying to convince him to get it done. He is also concerned about voiding factory warranty, I cant win with this guy

If he has warranty concerns, something like our Predator or Trinity might be what he needs, as it will allow him to restore the stock tune to the truck for dealer visits with no concern for the warranty.

08 Silverado Predator

Thanks

if he is worried about warrenty, then tell him to pay and keep is original pcm. justin's tune will be leaps and bounds over any handheld. your brother wont be dissapointed.

Perhaps I can be of testament here. I've got a mostly stock 4.8 ECSB, and drove down to see Wheatley today...I was in the area, . Anyway, my little slow.8 isn't so slow, , lol.

I've done lots and LOTS of reading on here, and wanted to see where I made my power in my mods. Tune was #1. By next week I'll have LT's and ORY, but that's a story for another time. The tune is WELL worth the money! Not to mention I had one badass for a tuner!! (Wheatley is 'da man!! ) Tell your bro to get a tune...he won't be disappointed, so long as the tuner knows what's up...
