Default "Tuning" a relay

Had this posted on another forum, but that one is more dedicated to cosmetic stuff for my rig, no one knew the answer. When I thought about it I realized I should have posted it here first

Since I bought my z, the driver's side mirror turn signal, lock, and pedal adjust have not worked. I have read that this is more than likely due to a bad relay. I have also read that you cannot simply change out the relay, but that you need it to be "tuned" to your vehicle. Is there anyway I can do this on my own? I have a buddy with an autoshop, so I have someone with automotive electrical experience, but probably not the capacity to do some crazy GM specific stuff......Has anyone else has this issue?

2003 Tahoe z71

AK can you fix this?

All of those items are controlled by the driver's door module. I've replaced the modules without needing any programming in the past, but I suppose that once in a while, it may need to be done. Anybody with a Tech 2 would be able to flash it for you.

I don't think the door modules started needing the BCM programmed until 2007?

Ok, thanks guys. You know, that would be great if it was that simple, and certainly a first in my (short) automotive experience.

Read this on z71tahoe, if it doesnt work I will find that thread and post it because I'm really not a big fan of that site, or the people that frequent it.....Will report back either way.

Sorry for the wrong forum topic, the engine one is usually the one I go to first =P
