I just bought this 05 HD 2500 Crew Cab Long Box 4x4 with 4.11 gears. So far the best MPG I got was 15 on the way home with it. Is it even possible to find more MPG by tuning this or is that not possible? I know the gears are not helping. Thanks for any help.

 

yes... getting a tune and getting your fueling adjusted correctly will get you better mileage, and better performance as well...

with getting things dialed in correctly, you could gain about 2-3 mpg...

I'm not sure who's close to upstate, but our sponsors can do mail order, and Justin at BlackBear often goes out on the road and has weekend tuning sessions all over the place. Not sure if he goes upstate, but I know that he's done New Jersey which you could always get on board with. I'm hoping that by the time he makes it back to this area my trans is done so I can get in on the street tune
