went to the track last night and my truck ran like **** for some reason it's slow as hell in first once it's outta first it hauls *** it's kinda like the converter aint locking up... I pop the hood and I noticed that the air filter is completely crush it was sucked up like a can... so I try to reform it to the way it was still running the same way... so a buddy of mine told me to run it without the cone it ran a little faster but something still aint right I ran a 10.6 in the 1/8 without the air filter cone.. and 11.3 with it.. and before I had anything done to the truck except the tune I was running 10.5 and that was with 24's... I was think the tune or the tranny getting ready to go out?

if all of that stuff in your sig is actually done to your truck, i would say get out of the trauck, walk to the back, and take the ship anchor off the bumper.

maybe your clutches in your tranny are slipping? there isnt much else that could do that, unless you took out two spark plugs?

 

Was it hot that day? Did you have the truck idling for awhile before the run?

 

I ran the truck in the summer and I had 24's on then with only a tune and I was running 10.5 3x... yesterday it was 52 and I was running 11's until I took the filter off I ran a 10.6 in the 1/8... I just talked to the guy who did my tranny and he's gonna take a look at it...

 

took it to the the trans shop and the tranny is fine still haven't found out where the powere lost is though gonna check the spark plugs... don't know what it may be...

looks like a nitrous intake backfire. my buddies did that and lost the maf and piston
