Default truck throwing codes, HPT won't read/delete them

I recently installed the 4.56s in my truck and reprogramed everything with HPTuners. After driving for about a mile or two the parking brake and ABS lights come on and stay on till I shut the truck off. I plugged the laptop in and ran the scanner when the lights came on and it didn't read any codes, since it didn't read the codes I can't figure out what they are to turn them off. Before I bought the HPT software I had a hypertech with 4.88s. I had the hypertech set to 4.56s ( max it would allow ) and even with the computer reading 4.56 but the truck having 4.88 I had no lights. I would think that the HPTuners would allow me to turn off the lights since it is a far more advanced program than hypertech. Is there something I am doing wrong?? Thanks in advance for the help.

AFAIK the only light that HPT has control of is the SES light. The parking brake light and the ABS light... Did you check the ABS fuse? Only thing I can think of.

AFAIK??? not sure what that is...

all the fuses are fine, I thought that it may be something stupid like that too but it isn't always on, only after driving a bit. So since HPT only has control over the SES light I can't do anything about the abs?

Those lights usually intel something with your ABS computer (card). I am not sure, but isn't that a seperate reporting system...meaning it can be read from a shop snap on diagnostic, but we (HPT)can't see abs codes. The ABS just sends messages to the PCM on traction issues. Check the forums on HPT...there are a few threads on abs there.

Thats what I was thinking, but wanted to be sure. What concerns me is, I could use the snap-on scanner to turn the light off, but since I didn't actually fix anything, won't it come back on after I restart the truck each time??
