Truck guys use ls2 or ls7 injector?
Has anyone tried them on a truck motor?
The ls2 is a 34lb and the ls7 is a 42lb.
Anyone out there?

i would bet if they are from a car ( vette or gto, etc.) that they wont fit the truck motors
if thats what they are rated at they are very close to the 8.1L truck injectors (31 lb./hr.) and the 8.1L marine injectors (42 lb./hr.)
i think the car style injectors require spacing or shimming or something to fit on truck fuel rails

Im going to put a set on my 04 4.8 tomorrow and see how they work out.
The truck is completely stock and the injectors are at 89% dc.
Btw the injectors use the same clip.

We did this swap in my shop. LS2 intake on an 04 5.3. The injectors won't plug in. Are you sure you have LS2 injectors? What's the part #? 89% isn't really worth worrying about.

You need EV6 Connectors to run the LS2 ans LS7 injectors. I ran the LS2 injector with the LS2 intake you see above. They are close to 32# but not exactly, I had stock GTO tables and C6 Corvette tables and neither ran right, very rich for both. But when we put the 8.1L 32# injector info in along with different MAF tables it works perfectly.
