Default Truck fired right up, now no start??

Hey guys just want to double check myself with your opinions. Just finished a TH400 swap along with a stand alone harness. The harness was built without any of the stock trans, fuel pump, and ABS components present. Tonight was the first start up since changing everything over. The truck fired up instantly and ran for a good 4-5 minutes and I ran the throttle up slightly and after the rpms started to roll down it died, to be expected though since it hasn't been tuned since the cam swap and turbo along with anything else. Went to start back up, no start not even a click. I verified power to the relay, and there's power to the starter (crossed terminals and we have spark). Gave the starter a few good hits with the ol' hammer and every once in a while it'll clunk, but that's the extent. So I suppose im asking how can the truck start up instantly and then nothing. Is it that likely that the starter just **** the bed? I've ruled out the security system, as I understand the stock system cuts fueling, not ignition. Plan on pulling the starter tomorrow and jumping it just for ***** and gigs. Any other idea??

Did you let it cool to see if the issue is just while hot?

I know it sounds stupid but I would triple check your ground wires.

Yea at first I thought the same but it never really had time to get hot per say, but I tried starting an hour or so later and still nothing. All the grounds are new even to the extent that I wizwheeled all of the grounding points. Everything else is even functioning as advertised.
