Trouble code after having a custom tune.
#1
Hey guys . I recently had a black bear tune done on my 06 silverado, 5.3 engine. I installed long tube headers, shift kit, and vette servo. I sent my pcm in to justin and waited for it to return. well anyway today after giving my truck a good tune up and putting the pcm back in. I keep getting a p0030 code on my truck and the truck is not really idling right. I had them disable the rear 02 senors. I done away with the cats so what do i need to check could it be a bad 02 senor and i was also wondering when the rear 02 senors are deleted do you still have hook them up/

P0030 HO2S Heater Control Circuit B1S1... Sadly this is a front 02 sensor not a rear. When the rears are deleted from the tune they no longer need to be hooked up.
Could be as simple as a bad 02 sensor, The usual DTC associated to long tube installs are P0153, P1153, P1133 and P0133 Which is 02 sensor slow to respond due to being further down the exhaust stream, And insufficient switching.
Your DTC is not a common one associated to long tubes so I would check your wiring to make sure you don't have any burned wires and then try swapping 02 sensors to see if the problem follows. Being its a fresh install they should be easy to remove and swap.
