Default Timing for nitrous

Yes I know that timing needs to be pulled generally for a nitrous application. I've heard the rule of thumb is 1 degree per "50 shot".

My engine is stock as of right now. Magnaflow, CAI, Cat delete, and a 75 shot right now. Where exactly should my timing be at for spraying? Me and RSTinOKC logged my truck making a few WOT runs last night and I think it was between 24 and 27 IIRC.

Where does it need to be for spraying ideally?

Is it getting any KR at that degree of timing? If it is pull some and make another log. Im running 24* on a 100shot. My buddy is running 21* on a 150shot. Just gotta tweek it till you get it in that sweet spot

I believe we got a TINY bit at very low RPM and some around 6200+ around the shift. Only did two nitrous WOT runs and they were about the same all motor as far as the KR goes.

I don't have a wideband in. The only thing that has been done to the tune is torque management zero'd out and shift points. Nothing was done as far as VE tables and such so the motor is still "stock" tune. I know they're rich from the factory and i did the jets according to a nitrous calculator. I know its not running lean, but not for sure of the exact AFR

Get you a wideband. Its a very important tool. I had to adjust the fuel quite a bit and get it correct then go over to the timing section. I suggest not going any higher on the shot till you get a A/F gauge and see where its at.

The General rule of thumb is 2 degrees per 50 shot being safe
Of course use a wideband
Gap the plugs to the proper gap using the proper heat range
As you get the spark and fuel dialed in,you can slowly start to advance spark alittle more IF needed(more is not always better)
Read the plugs, watch and listen to make sure you do not have any Detonation/Pinging.You can't always hear detonation,so reading the plugs is a very good way to keep the engine happy in good running order.
Detonation=

I'd post the log but I deleted it...was removing clutter from thumb drive, sorry.
Found some clear and concise information on it though:
