Default Timing at launch?

I was just wondering what everyone else does meaning the moment you launch is your timing high or low? Do you ramp up or ramp down??? I am thinking i might gain some 60ft by playing around with the timing at launch....

For example, currently at the track I stall up to ~2k and flash it from there, it usually hits around ~3200 and about 21-22* of timing and ramps up to ~27-28*... I am wondering on the initial hit if the timing should be higher since the the load is less (grams/cyl)... I can only really test it at the track cause if i try to do it on the street i just flame the tires...

So in short what is your timing at launch and RPM?????

Why wouldn't your timing in those cells already be at or near maximum gain anyway?

Cause i do my own tuning, so they are my spark tables... I really need to get on a load bearing dyno to dial in my Spark table, Justin set me up with a guy to show me how it is done, but I just don't have the money for his time and the dyno time....

Yeah, understand. I was fine until it came to the timing tables, I can't see how anyone can get partial throttle timing down on the street. I had it pretty close but definately the dyno is the way to work timing by maintaining consistant load (variable at that) across the entire rpm.

Ya I worked on the PT timing, it is more by feel, no exact science. But my little Terd-mobile scoots pretty good now, I am just fine tuning the timing at the track, even there it is rather difficult
