throttle body?

he what are the sign of it going out? i have a drive by wire and the idle keep changing sometime i start the truck and it idle at 850 and other times it want to idle at 600.

Probably needs cleaning......and clean your MAF sensor too...that K&N filter probably got oil all over your MAF.

more info. there is a warm idle rpm and a cold idle rpm (warm is lower then cold
