So, a while back, I purchased a Diablosport, and when I got it, I had just changed the gear in the rearend, so I just used it to change the speedo, adjusting for ratio, and tire size. So after I filled up with 93 octane, I tried to load the performance tune on it,and mess around with some stuff, but it now tells me that my vehicle software is version incompatible for tuning.. WTF??? Anyone have an idea, or should I just call diablosport?

 

Never had mine do that to me.Of course everytime i would swap tunes for whatever reasons i would unload/reload a stock tune as to start from a blank slate ya know.
Other than that i can't see anything being wrong....did you remember to remove your three fuses?
Maybe there is a update for it......not sure man.

 

Three fuses?? I thought that was only for vehicles with onstar?

 

Mine doesn't have onstar and i still had to pull them everytime.In fact when i got my truck dyno tuned just this monday i still had to pull those three fuses before the laptop could talk to my computer.I'd check it out that might.......i said might be the problem.

 

Oh by the way the three fuses are the info,stero and stero amp.

 

Thanks, I will give it a shot. I didn't pull them the first time and it worked fine, but who knows, stranger things have happened... By the way, how is that 6.0 doing for you?

 

Doin great man.I love how when i finally kick into thrid gear at 98mph it still feels like i'm in second.Before with the 5.3 thrid gear was a dog.Now it keeps pulling and doesn't look back.
Plus i did my first donut with the new motor tonight.She pulls a much tighter circle compared to how she acted behind the little 5.3
It's alot of fun thats for sure.
Oh i raced my buddy who has a GT....we used to run dead even from a 70punch.Once i hit thrid he'd start walking away from me.
Now from 70punch i pulled him about 4 lengths just to the end of second gear.

 

3rd gear at 98?? wow. definitely sounds like a winner. Damn emission inspections...

 

Ya i'm running it to 6700rpms since i only drop off 11hp from peak.
I don't have to worry about emmissions.Since i ahve a 04 they just plug into the OBWhatever port and it reads the comp.Everything that could say it's wrong is turned off so it's all good.

 

I love the two new tires comment in your sig man.Sounds like me lol.The two on there right now need to be replaced as it is!!!!
