Im a little confused here. Can you explain to me why it is that you cant put in the 80e trans parameters yourself? Do they require that you buy a whole new set of tuning credits to do a trans segment swap (they consider it as a whole new "vehicle")?

hptuner software wont let a user do a segment swap.

If it were a stock OS he could find a tune from his model year with and 80e segment in it and just write that. Transfer over his current tuning to it. He however is in the same boat I was and has a custom 2bar OS. He has to take that 80e OS and then apply the SD to it and it wants you to use credits to apply the patch.

I was in the same boat after my 80e swap. I ended up licensing an 80e segmented file with the same OS and running that for a while.. Support@hptuners got my original file swapped within two weeks. Never could get ahold of ECtune
