Default switching 2007 dbw to 2004 dbw for cos.

I have a supercharged 2007 express van ecu that I am maxing out my maf so the only other option is to do a cos with efilive. Since efilive does not offer a cos for 2007 I need to switch the dbw tac module ,pedal and throttle body for 2003-5 parts. Has anyone done this and is there anything I should know before I do this. I do have a tuner working with me but I hate to keep bugging him and trying to figure stuff out on my own .How do I know the ecu out of the 2003 vehicle will support a cos also before buying the ecu.

The 03 and 07 van both have 512/sec MAF airflow limits. I think you will have an issue as the 04 OS using a 24X reluctor. Have you considered scaling the tune to run the MAF? The E38 should support 2 and 3 bar VVE tables if you want to go SD.

it is not an e38 ecu. It is still an ls1 style ecu

Sorry about making the assumption.

The EFILive custom OS does not increase the MAF range, that is a hard limit of the PCM. If you want to run the MAF, I would scale it and keep things the same. Usually the service number on the PCM drives the type of OS that can be flashed into it. These ones should be compatible: 12576106, 12581565, 12582605 for an 03 Silverado.

Are you going to an SD tune?

Yes speed density.
