Superchips Programmer
#1
My buddy has a Superchips Flashpaq. He is wondering if you get higher performance out of the "superchips" setting or by choosing the highest "stock + etc." setting. Also as far as programmers go in general, which would you say is the best? any word on the predator programmer? thanks

Why do you want to use a programmer? Is there any reason why you're shying away with a custom tune? The way things work now, it is very easy to go to a custom tune and your truck will experience little to no downtime.

Go with a custome tune, dont waste your money on a handheld.
Ask yourself this- How does a company know what is done to your truck, what elevation you live at, what the weather is like, how you drive etc. When they make them all the same and sell them with no info. All of the above mentioned things come into play with your engine. You will be much better off with a custom tune, I have viewed some of the different handheld settings that they change and its nothing special. Mainly just shiftpoints and they add some timing in. Just adding in timing without messing with fueling is not the best means. Just a little info for you..
