hopefully i am posting this in the right place, i was wondering if anyone could tell me if the superchip programmer would be worth the money, i have a 2006 silverado 5.3 with a k&n cia throtel body spacer, gibson sport exhaust. looking for a good boost in power. would there realy be a noticable increase in power and or gas mialage???

Some gains but not enough to justify the price. I tried one (even before blower) and was very dissapointed. IMO. Go get a custom dyno tune, then you can get the most out of your rig, safely, and just as much $$$. Also any changes that you want to make, the tuner can make, superchips can not. If don't wanna go dyno tune, then get Westeners or Nelsons Tunes. Do a search. Good luck.

umm you'll find that no one on here like handheld tuners because THEY SUCK the diablosport predator is ok if your dead set on a handheld but get a mailorder tune from nelson or a few others. most claim gains of about 40hp and 2-3 mpg with tune only
btw the throttle body spacer is useless so you could take it off (unless you have it for the sound)and sell it and make up some of the money
