Default Stock 80e converter lock up

What type of settings do you run when locking a stock converter at WOT?

Here are my "race" settings.
Basically, I lock the converter as soon as I can...

Table one is the WOT shift points.
Table two is max TCC duty cycle.
Table three is min TCC duty cycle.
Table four is TCC apply and release.
Table five is my TCC line pressure offset.

Here is a screen shot of those tables in play.

You can see my tcc never locks completely. The tcc clutch hits single digits of slip just as I clear the traps at 119mph...

It's under the "General Pressures" tab. only available with the 01-02 pcm.

crap, another blank page on my system. I have nothing under that tab, thanks for the screen shot!

Don't you fear burning up the lock-up clutches in your converter locking under wot?

NO, not really, everything I do locks the converter faster which equels less slip.
I'm sure the hard parts of the trans likes the converter to lock fast and hard. lol
The last 4l80e rebuild I installed a new sonnax tcc control
valve, which should help with the mechanical apply speed.

Some of your TCC release speeds are higher than your apply speeds. Does that not cause a problem with the TCC unlocking after you lock it up?

Thanks for posting those up. If I like the way the lock up feels I don't mind trying at the track. The last thing I want to do is have some incorrect settings and slip the converter all the way down the track. This week I'll get some screenshots of what my tabels look like and we can compare.
