I got my w4m tune the other day and when i installed it the truck wouldn't start. It turned over and i could hear the injectors firing and all but it wouldn't kick off. Would this be the crank position sensor relearn causing a problem or is it a problem with the pcm. Either way Jesse at w4m sent me another way it should be here soon. Help!

 

Is the security light blinking?

 

Most likely you have to do a security relearn. Search will show the procedure.

 

I don't think so. I don't have an alarm just keyless entry. Did yall have that problem??

 

Ok I think that was the problem. How do i fix it?

 

going by memory.

Try to start truck (should fire for a split sec then die) Dont turn the key back just leave it in the run position. The security and battery light will alternate and flash on and off. In 10 mins it will stop and only the Security light will be on.

Turn it off for 10 seconds and try to start it again. (will fire and die) Wait 10 mins until only securty light is on.

Turn it off and do it again a third time.

4th time it will start, it will take about 40 mins
