Default Staggered wheel tune

I know a guy that has a '06 Tahoe and he bought 22's(275-40-22) for the front and 24's(305-35-24) for the rears and he wants to reprogram his pcm to accept this change. Currently his ABS light is on and the ABS, traction control, etc. don't work. Is there a fix for this condition?

Fronts are ~30.6" tall and the rears are ~32.4" tall. That's a pretty noticeable difference as the stockers are around 30.5". If he's having it retuned for the tire size then go ahead and check/clear the codes. That much of a difference front to back might cause those problems but I don't know for sure. Sounds like he has a Texas rake going on with low-pros instead of mudders

If there is a fix, it does not exist within the PCM. A Tech2 may be able to reprogram the ABS computer for differing front/rear tire sizes, but I'm not positive on that.

even the techII can only adjust within a small percentage....your buddy might be up ***** creek, if the WSS is not matching front and rear it will never work.

He liked how it looked on the SSR's and when he saw it on a Tahoe in Truckin and at SEMA he wanted to do it. He has called up the mag and they told him that that was just a show truck and that they have the same problems. He already bought the wheels and is driving with them but it keeps chiming and he has cels on all the time. He was given a suggestion to use some sort of signal amplifier to duplicate the signal from the rear ABS to match the fronts. He was hoping it could be adjusted in the tune but I guess he is SOL for now.

It seems to me that if you were really motivated you could compensate for it. I've seen a device for altering the VSS signal for tire sizes. All it does is change the frequency of the signal the ecu recieves, so in theory you could use one for each WSS and fix the problem.
