I finally am getting around to get my "ss" tuned, tomorrow! Im taking it to Hutter Performance in Chardon, Ohio. They came highyl recommended from a few people. Kinda on the pricey side but people I have talked to have been really happy with their results. Im anxious to see what kind of numbers this new motor puts down with a good tune.

Anyone have an idea what I should expect for hp / tq numbers?

370 ci
tr224 cam
mild polish 317 heads
stock truck intake
43 lbs injectors (if they come from summit today) if not stock
stage 2 4L60e

Im fairly pleased with those numbers. Time to start thinking of more upgrades for power. Im thinking LsxRT intake and a set of heads next

 

Seems kinda low for the setup. Was that 3rd gear with the tc locked?

it dose seem low do you have any exhaust work done or any induction work done or is it just a 370 with a cam?

 

370 with cam only, long tubes to single 3" to hooker aero chamber muffler

tune was done 2 gear converter unlocked... I gotta take it back because the converter at cruising speeds ( 2k-2500k rpm) keeps locking and unlocking which it surges...very annoying I have to get the rpms up to get the convter to lock up in driver by shifting into 3rd....
