Default Something wierd happened today

On my way to work this morning something wierd happened. In the message center, the security light came on and I also noticed the seat belt light came on. Mind you, this is all while the truck moving. Nothing seemed to be affected by it though. It did this about 4 times total on a 10 mile trip. On the way home, it never did it.

Was this just a fluke thing? What could cause something like this? I do have a Nelson tuned pcm, but I doubt thats the problem, wouldn't this be from the bcm?

btw, sorry if this is the wrong forum

mmm...kinda odd sounding. Sometimes its a little glitch in the system that will do that. If you want, reset the pcm by pulling the two fuses for the ecm 1 and 2.. you know how to do that right?

I'll give that a try if it happens again.

I've read a lot of posts and there are several TSB's for loose/poor connections in wire harnesses with GM Trucks. I also think there are issues with the PCB's in the instrument clusters. I have a security light that glows dim with the truck running and cold outside. Quits in the summer. Could be a hard one to pinpoint.
