i have been chasing one since my engine swap. 200 bucks later(idler, tensioner ,alt , and balancer bolt and install tool) come to find out i had'nt got my power steering pump pulley all the way seated and the belt was skating sideways on the water pump creating a wicked chirp. so i agree , pull the belt and run it just to check.
