SES Light Turned Itself Off
#1
I had the stock cats off for a couple of weeks after the header install. While waiting on the Magnaflow/Carsound cats to arrive via UPS, the SES light came on as expected. I put the cats on last week and after a few driving cycles the SES light turned itself off!
I had heard that this happens on some of the F-Body cars, but had little hope it would do it on my '04 truck. Now that I think about it, maybe it just burned out.
BTW - I really like these cats (#94106). They eliminate the rasp and I can feel no performance loss over having no cats. I seem to have got a little low end back.
