but look at your first pic, there is 3 bolts on the cable extention, thats why i asked if you used it, well the only thing i can think of is the piece for the cable and the blade are not welded together anymore, go outside and see if there is a slight movement in the two. if so you need to tack weld them together, you will need some kinda way to look at percentage of the t/b on the tps switch, get it to 0.00 and make a mark on the two that way when you remove it you can line the marks up and tack weld it together so they stay right there or if its under warrenty send it back to BBK, have you tried putting on your stock t/b to see if you have the same problems??

For the welded piece, I'm not sure what you mean? Do I need to remove the intake tube and look for the welded area on the inside or ? As for putting the stock TB on, I had planned on doing that this weekend.
And is there anyway to test the tps on my own?
BTW, thanks for all your help!

yes, you will have to test the voltage of the tps, best way is to put the stock one on, and if it does throw the code its a bad tps.
now look at your pic and where the cable hooks to the t/b thats one piece, the other is right next to it, it looks like one piece but its actually two pieces welded together to operate the blade,
where the cable and the spring meet that is a two piece deal, it has a little tack that holds them together, after time mine broke so i had to tack weld it there. kinda confusing I know lol

I will take some pics of my setup, its better than BBK, because you get to use factory mounting holes, a true 80mm opening. You use there gasket, minus the 1/2" plate that reduces down from 80mm to 75mm

I think I know what your talking about:
Cable is on the left, hooked to the brass colored pull - just to the right, next to the spring is where the weld is? If thats what your talking about, I don't have any play there...
The stock tps is currently installed on the TB - do you happen to know how much one is?
What kind of TB do you own? Yeah, I noticed when I installed everything that the tb size compared to the tb spacer size didn't line up very well...

I'd be interested in buying one of those plates, but it'd be a month or so before I could get it - but I'll let you know... Thanks, you've been a big help!
Man have I got alot of stuff to do this weekend, to chase down this dtc code...
