Default School me on ABS and Stabilitac dash lights

My ABS and stabilitrac light is staying on. How do you go about clearing these things. These lights are driving me crazy. Truck is a 11 Chevy 1/2 ton. I swapped gears and added a tru-trac. I would love to do away with the abs and stabilitrac if possible. I have already disconnected the battery and tried to reset by no luck.

If the lights are on, there are codes. Your scanner may not be scanning the correct modules.

Those things are 10k. I'll put tape over the lights for that.

You don't have to buy the scanner. Take it to a mechanic he should charge u near nothing to scan it. Then u can go from their.

Since you have Stabilitrak I think you will need it recalibrated for the rear gears. I think it compares the speed sensor on the transmission to the wheel speed sensors; the new gears may be throwing it off.
