Well I'm thinking of playing with the N20 pills and use a 75 shot and then a 125 on the Money run. Have any of you guys ever Pulled the clutch fan off and ran. I think it would be ok, Rather than pulling the belt completley off like I have seen some do. I figure I could just pull the fan itself off and would run a little quicker?

Since you have n2o, why not just get a progressive controller and vary the shot from inside the cab. If you're tuned for a 125shot and you use the controller so it only sprays the first part of the track then you'll run slower for sure. Then when money is on the line spray it how you normally do it.

Well I'm not really going to spend much money on the truck any more. I have a race car now that is a money Pit. But It's a great Idea though and thanx for the advice. But has any one got any info on the clutch fan?

If the clutch fan is locked up, that will create a tremendous amount of drag.

throw a toggle switch on your iat sensor and put a resistor in line (w/toggle on) to make the pcm think you have lots of IAT, hence pulling lots of timing. (ofcourse edit so in the tune)

There was some guy up at the track. He pulled his belt off when he got there and put it back before he left. He also had a battery charger for the battery. But I was thinking, when I get to the track just pull off the clutch fan. Then before I leave put it back on. Wouldnt that make the truck a little quicker with the fan off than with it on?

yea, just for a pass or two it would give you all the advantages of electric fans. just keep an eye on your temp! also, for what it's worth, i know guys who bring a cooler and a couple of bags of ice and 20 or 30 min before a run they set them on top of their intake. they swear it cuts 2 or 3 tenths but i've never tried it personally. just a thought. it makes sense though.

Yea I seen a guy with a T/A do that one time. He run the car with it on there. He said it droped 2 tenths off also. I would think it just would cause water to get in places it shouldnt be, right? and wouldnt it make some things rust faster?
