That's a big cam for a stock converter. It's almost the same size as my cam and it would surge bad when coming to a stop. Is your throttle blade drilled?

My TB is not drilled, would a converter fix that problem?

Yeah you need a converter to fix the surge at stop lights and what not. Some people drill the blade to help with tuning with big cams like that. I'm not a pro by any means so hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in and help ya

converter is not gonna solve your problems a tune will though cams not big enough to drill a hole ! might wanna roam around hptuners website for answers to tuning or get a hold to a sponsor or someone who does tuning pay them and see if they will help you out

on the converter issue though, your cam's power band would definitely need a bigger stall size, depends where the torque peaks though
