I recently bought the nelson LS1 e-fan harness and flex a lite e-fans for my 2002 chevy silverado 5.3L auto. A GM tech and I installed the fan today (06/05/2206) but i read the email you sent me and it says that the pcm needs to be reprogrammed or flashed to activate the e-fans!! can you explain what i need to do or what steps to take?
The tech scan through the menus of the tech 2 on what might be to activate the e-fans but found nothing and he also called GM tech assist and they said they cannot provide any help cause the e-fans are aftermarket. So please email me as soon as possible on how to fix this problem or am i missing something!!! please help me to advise this problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need to have someone activate pin 42 i believe before the fans will work with the nelson fan harness.
