Reduced power. easy off?

I havent had time to get to a shop and have the suburban tuned which im sure they can take care of this issue im having and to be honest i have no idea how to fix it...
If it see's any boost and the throttle is now WFO it goes into reduced power.. Its not a huge problem as i can drive like grandmaw but it does suck on the highway... However if you go WFO its fine 80% of the time.. but if you dont jump off the gas 100% it goes into reduced power. HP tuner thing says something about to much air flow vs something vs something..
Anyway what i was wondering was is there way to just bypass that until i can get it tuned,

mine will not run speed density... did all that research before i turboed it... mine is a 01 2500 and even if you do the swap, there is no provision to tune it on sp.. at least thats what a few tuners told me.

those tuners lied to you! Have you had the vehicle tune for the boost? if not you are seeing a lean condition and that will pop the motor! I had a problem where my maf was seeing more airflow that it could read, therefore I am now speed density! I would take it to a tuner and let them get it all straight for you. Call a reputable shop and let them know what is going on, if you go speed density you will need a Iat sensor and have them set up the tune. As far as "provisions" to tune for your set up....... well there have been multiple large turbo big CI motors tuned on a stock pcm with a COS III on speed density.
Sound like you are blowing through the maf table, some tuners will rescale the table if you are just out of the limits of the maf, but anything over what is stock is just a guess on what your engine needs.
hope that helps!

yes im blowing threw the mass air.. The fuel tables are rich now.. verry rich lol... once on boost it goes in the 10's on the wide band... I just dont know all the little tricks a professional does when it comes to this stuff.. we have done a few other turboed gm cars and tucks and got them close but the other turck and camaro never showed this reduced power message..
From the tuners i talked to on the maf vs speed density the SD is better, but with my set up and the mountains he said its just safier and easier to do on a maf than trying to convert it if the tables are there.. To be honest im not sure what hte deal is the 99 truck is a 1500 and its on SD and the camaro is 01 and its on SD but they said that will not work on mine.. Maybe i just have a screwd up ecu? Im also not going to be running a ton of boost... its on 9 psi now, and id like to get 12 or so... But its a stock 8.1L and the pistions suck lol..
Tuning wise it doesnt need a lot, i just dont know to do it... the "tip in" fuel curve is fine until it sees about half pound of boost then i get the "reduced power" driving normal its not to far off floats in the 13-14 range on the wide band.. What i dont get is a little boost is reduced power. But if you just go wide open its fine until top of second gear when it trips reduced power. With the fuel hitting it on wide open it produces a cough or stumble... its like its asking are you sure want this..
Ill get it tuned one day... just had a log going on this month and one of the closest tuners is 300 miles away.
here is the stumbel or cough i was talking about... Doesnt matter the rpms it just when you go wfo.

this is how it hits reduced power... Not sure what the deal was with the compressor surge in the middle... its only done that once.. but it was right when it started spinning tires, so that might be soemthing totally different.. Ive got that junk auto trac transfer case so who knows... Im not worried about that.. like i said its only done that once.
as for reduced power its right at 4800 in second...
