No codes or well i got a p0315 today. Timing is on I checked it. I taking a rest from it working on my air compressor restoration and 36" lathe clean up.

Changed out crank and cam sensors no change. Any others have any ideas.

I'd say outta time.. But you verified it wasn't. Can't it be 180* or something similar to an old sbc? Cam wise?

I checked dot to dot. So unless the sensor is reading the cam wrong idk what else to check.

It deff sounds like the timing is off to me too, but since you verified that then i dont know. Did you turn the engine over by hand before final assembly to make sure everything turned over smooth?

Sure did. When I installed the rockers spun it to retorque. I guess ill tear it down again.

Stock cam, lifters, and push rod's???

P0315 is crankshaft variation not learned.

I wonder if there is an issue with thrust / end play or if the crank wheel is damaged.

Did you change/ modify the tune your self??? Are you sure you adjusted everything correctly???

Comp xr281hr, ls7 lifters, 7.350 comp pushrods. I took the best care of the crank I could. I'm trying to tune it myself.
