I think everything Allen listed is about right, the stall makes the TQ management act terrible, You shoud be fine once it is removed. I do not think there are any parameters to specifically adjust for a stall converter.

You may also want to increase the tcc lockup a few mph so it doesn't drag the engine down at low mph. allen
How do i do this? Which tables need to be adjusted?

To unlock the converter at wot...go to TCC and you can then adjust the apply and the release, also make sure that it does not apply during upshift.
Make sure your chart on the TCC parameters is in mph. If you use your tow haul button for performance mode, then just adjust the performance table so the tq converter will not lock at all by setting that whole column to 256 in second and third gear, you can also adjust it in normal mode to your preference. Good Luck!

I looked at your tune this morning and everything looked good, looks like Jesse got it right. When your truck is in performance mode (tow haul ON) the converter is unlocked, when its off the converter locks up. Unlocked converter performs better as far as acceleration.

A locked torque converter clutch transmits 100% of the engine torque thru the TC into the transmissions, when the TCC is unlocked the TC can actualy spin faster than the input shaft of the trans thus multiplying torque.
When the TCC is locked there is ZERO torque multiplication thru the TC, the truck will act as though it is a manual trans truck.

If I hold the throttle steady and tp the brakes lightly, the TCC will unlock whenever the brake is tapped, and relock when the brake is released. With my stock tune the TCC locks at WOT above 85 mph, but by eliminating a WOT TCC apply I dropped 1 tenth in the 1/4 mile.

Vortec, could you please remove that comment about WAIT4ME, he is a site sponsor after all. You can post whatever you want, but in my opinion badmouthing in a sig, just isnt right.

Please bud, could you change it???
Thanks

peace
