I say build it NA then boost it. Why drop power to add power. My 5.3 had around 8.8:1 compression, ran awesome on boost but around town it was a dog. Off idle I would get walked at a light, once boost came in it was "bye bye". Now there is no chance in hell either way. It does spin all the way through first and second if I go WOT. Which is all new to me.

Now I understand I'm at a 6.2 from a 5.3. However, I went from stock 6L to this same cam and it was WOW from day one. Which is why I used it again in the 6.2.

So back to the original part of this thread. I'm having a weird rpm spike at down shift. As in, when slowing to a stop when tha trans is clicking down the gears the engine revs up and drops back down. I'll have to find it in a log and scream shot it.
