Poll: Which is better for a dyno-tune-LS1 Edit or HP Tuners?
I don't do my own tuning or nothing. There are a few sponsers I've narrowed it down to on who I want to dyno-tune my 382 LS1 when I get it in. Now it's down to hp tuners versus LS1 Edit. Which one would you get and why? Is one better than the other? Please explain why you picked one over the other. Thanks!

Its not the tool but the user. There are many old school tuners who know what they are doing and still use LS1, HPTuners has more bells and whistles and many have switched from LS1 edit because it is more user friendly and better support from the company and users. The main advantage of HPTuners is you can do the dyno tune and then hook up the scanner and log a road test. This is the best way to go, it will show not only WOT HP/tq but also accel/decel, idle part throttle response, knock and other issues. When done correctly, you will have a very responsive engine from idle to top end back to idle...they also tend to last longer.
