I'm getting the code po449 according to my scanmaster. Can anyone tell me what this is and how to fix it? Thanks

P0449 - Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Valve/Solenoid Circuit Malfunction

The vent may just be clogged or the solenoid may be kaput...If you have the proper scanner or software you can active test the solenoid and test it's operation.

Where do I find this vent or solenoid? Thank You

I believe that it's located on the charcoal cannister, which is to the rear of the driver's side fuel rail, but I'm not 100% sure, hopefully someone who knows for sure can confirm...
