Default Which PCM ECU do I use....

Hi. Not sure this is the right place to post, but I got a newbie question here...

I got a LQ4 for a '55 chevy project and all I have is the longblock. I am planning on going with LS1/LS6 intake and F Body FEAD. Right now that's all I got. I was wondering what type of ECU PCM I will need to use?

Any info would be great. Thanks!

IMO due to custom tuning it doesn't matter that much. any PCM off an lsx should work and you can just tune it to fit your application.

am i right?

Use the one from the '55. J/K sounds like a fun project. Got any pics of this project.

It depends on what harness you use. Are you going to use a cable throttle body? If so, I stay with a 99-02 harness and a PCM with a service number ending in 411. They come in the 01-02 trucks and F-body's. It will have red and blue connectors on the harness an labels on the PCM.

If you are using HPTuners you will also have more trans tables using the 01-02 bin files...
