I ran across this thread on EFI Live... Apparently the manual guys can program their PCM to iluminate a shift light using the PCM... Or I was thinking you could set it low enough to activate NOS or something like that. Only draw back is that pin on the auto's is used for 2-3 shift solenoid... I just checked my tune and the parameter is there...

Pin 47 on the J2.....
